Dancers ages 2 and 3 and their caregivers join us for a joyful and expressive class in the studio. Our instructors will introduce the BrainDance (a series of warm-up movements set to nursery rhymes), multi-sensory dance explorations with props (scarves, instruments, etc.), and free dance time. Get ready for a bonding experience with your littlest dancer.
Dancers will have a blast dancing in our warm and supportive studio environment. Students will begin class with the Braindance (a series of warm-up movements set to nursery rhymes) and then explore our 15 Dance Concepts like rhythm and balance with props, dance games, and obstacle courses. Beginning ballet postures and positions are introduced for a perfect introduction to dancing independently. Level 1 is for 3-4-year-olds, and Level 2 is for 4-5-year-olds or dancers who have completed Level 1.
Dancers will begin class with the Braindance (a series of warm-up movements set to kids' songs). Dancers will learn beginning Ballet and Tap steps and they explore the weekly core dance concept through dance games, improvisation, obstacle courses, and learning simple choreography. Dancers will build confidence, rhythm, and coordination in a supportive and fun environment. Level 1 is for 3-4-year-olds, and Level 2 is for 4-5-year-olds or dancers who have completed Level 1.
Dancers ages 4 and 5 will get an introduction to Studio Hip-hop! Dancers will explore beginning hip-hop elements like bounces, rocks, and drops. Dancers will also increase coordination, rhythm, and balance through movement games, obstacle courses, and basic choreography.
Get your pom-poms ready! Dancers ages 4 and 5 will learn beginning cheer moves like rocket jumps, tuck jumps, and star jumps. Working with pom-poms, they will learn cheers and formations. They will also gain coordination through movement games and obstacle courses.
