Late to Class: Please arrive on time for class. Students who arrive later than 10 minutes may be asked to watch from the side, at the teacher’s discretion. Student safety is the primary factor in making this decision. Each class begins with a carefully designed warm-up. Missing warm-ups increases the risk of injury.
Missed Class: Students may make up a missed class by taking a similar level or age class at another time. Please schedule your make-up class with the office (425) 636-8494 or email@example.com). We kindly ask for no more than three make-up classes per semester as continual absences will disrupt your child’s learning and progress. If you have extenuating circumstances, such as an injury or illness, please connect with our office staff.
Class Cancellations: All classes are subject to cancelation if the class has fewer than 4 students enrolled. If your class or camp is canceled, we will make every attempt to find a comparable class at a suitable day and time. If your schedule does not allow for a change, you will be refunded for the remaining classes in the session. If a class has fewer than 4 students, a teacher may elect to shorten the class if all the material has been taught.
Emergency/Weather Closure: Eastside Dance follows the Lake Washington School District (LWSD) emergency and severe weather closures. On late start days and non-school days (Saturdays & Sundays), we will assess if we can safely operate. We will text all families impacted, post on social media (Facebook and Instagram) as well as update our website homepage header and voicemail.
Photos and Social Media: Eastside Dance maintains the right to take photos and/or videos of its dancers or guests. The photographs and videos are intended for marketing and promotional use on our website and social media and do not name or disclose personal information of those within the images. To request that no public photos be used of your dancer, please go to the Waivers section of your Eastside Dance Class Portal and complete the Photo Opt-Out Waiver.
