WHAT IS EASTSIDE DANCE COMPANY?

A non-competitive youth performance company!

We’re so excited to kick off a brand-new season of Eastside Dance Company, our premier youth performance group for intermediate to advanced dancers ages 8 and up who are ready to take their artistry to the next level!

Each year, EDC presents a themed production that challenges dancers with intricate choreography, fresh styles, and creative storytelling while building confidence and connection with peers from across the studio.

FAQS & ELIGIBILITY

Is my child eligible for EDC?

EASTSIDE DANCE COMPANY (EDC) ELIGIBILITY

EDC is open to all dancers enrolled in either:

Level 2 Class and is at least 8 years old by Sept 1st, 2026
Level 3+ Class and is at least 8 years old by Sept 1st, 2026
Beg/Int Class and is at least 8 years old by Sept 1st, 2026
Intermediate or higher class
Dancers must stay enrolled at Eastside Dance through the duration of Company and have consistent attendance in class and rehearsals.
Dancers must uphold Eastside Dance’s values (Inclusive, Brave, Tenacious, Passionate, Bright) at all times.
[Not Required] We strongly recommend all Company dancers take at least two dance classes per week to have the stamina and strength to be successful in Company.

When are auditions?

COMPANY CASTING AUDITIONS: To be Announced

Attending the audition is required to be cast for Eastside Dance Company.

When do rehearsals start and how long are they?

Rehearsals dates and information will be announced in September. All dancers will have a minimum of 2 hours of rehearsals. Specific times will be emailed to you once casting is complete.

How much does it cost?
