The Pre-Professional Ballet & Hip-Hop Programs at Eastside Dance are an elite training opportunity designed to prepare talented dancers for collegiate and professional dance careers. This rigorous program offers intensive instruction focused on refining both technical skills and artistic expression.
Pre-Professional Ballet
Curriculum & Training
The Pre-Professional Program offers rigorous training that will help your dancer refine their technique and artistry. Through more intensive classes and increased performance opportunities, students will grow both as dancers and as artists. Our experienced instructors will work closely with each dancer to define their goals, track progress, and provide the resources necessary for success in the dance world.
Industry Events
As part of our Pre-Professional program, your student will have the opportunity to take their ballet training to the next level by participating in genre specific industry events.
Pre-Pro Ballet Dancers participate in the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP), an industry event designed to enhance their technical and artistic abilities. In addition, industry events offer valuable performance experience, exposure to and feedback from renowned judges and teachers in the industry, training scholarships, and professional opportunities.

This program is uniquely designed to prepare highly talented dancers for collegiate and professional dance opportunities. Pre-Pro Ballet is designed for dancers who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, talent, and a strong desire to learn.

Pre-Professional Hip-Hop
Curriculum & Training

Through a weekly intensive class, increased performance opportunities, and industry-specific events, students will grow both as dancers and artists. Our experienced instructors will work closely with each dancer to define their goals, track progress, and provide the resources necessary for success in the dance world.
Industry Events
As part of our Pre-Professional program, your student will have the opportunity to take their hip-hop training to the next level by participating in a genre specific industry event called KAOS.
KAOS is a national convention and competition that takes place annually through various cities. Their goal is to support aspiring Hip Hop dancers through training, scholarships, and performing opportunities in solo battles and/or dance crew competitions.
The KAOS faculty is comprised of dancers who have choreographed and performed with top artists around the world including Usher, BTS, Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, Dua Lipa and more. Participating in KAOS gives young dancers an opportunity to learn from renowned Hip Hop and Commercial choreographers, receive feedback, and meet other dancers in our region.
